Thank you Valid Opinion, couldn't have said it better. I have severe RA and have been well looked after by our medical system. I have had a few surgeries and have never seen a bill and it was done in a very reasonable time. :thumbup:

I guess I was fortunate enough to have good luck with what I owned.

That's for sure!

I really don't have worst car. 49 years ago I bought my first car a 1961 Ford Galaxy for $400.00 dollars drove it for five years and sold it for $1,200 and the only expense was regular maintenance and brushes in the generator. I stayed with Ford and have owned some new ones and but mostly previously owned ones and have kept them ranging from 5 to 13 years. I have never replaced an engine, transmission or rear end in any of them. I have had a few small things go wrong but the Fords have always got me home. They have always done well for resale.

[quote=TucsonCoyote]Wow Chrysler is taking a beating here....wtf

As they should. I am a retired mechanic and after 34 years in the business I saw a lot. They sold for a couple of thousand dollars less than the equivalent in a GM or a Ford model. Chrysler made up the difference on repairs and parts and let me tell you they kept us busy. Oh I am sure there are some good ones out there but its like playing Russian roulette with a revolver with five bullets in it, your luck for getting a good one is not good. They may have improved in the past 12 years since I retired but I doubt it.

Please indulge a very proud Grandfather. Here is a pilot for a possible new
TV series in which my granddaughter has a staring role. Miss Lily is 10
years old and has had parts in our Civic plays. The link also gives you the complete background of who, what, when, where and why. Enjoy the video.
