Looks to me like you are off to a great start. Be advised, this can become very addictive. Pretty soon you will know what each type is and whether it is a male or female. Doc Shark will be a great help here. OK, I'm off to shoot some of my own!

OK, on further inspection, the OMD E-M1 uses a cable designated as CB USB-6 which appears to be proprietary. However you can get it from Amazon. Here is the link

The info I gave you earlier was for the Mark III. Also, I agree the better solution is to use a card reader for the transfer of images to your computer. Much simpler.
