You are absolutely right. With their 13% approval rating I expect to see a lot of different faces sitting in congress after the elections that are not affiliated with lobbyists.

You could build a pretty big wall with that money.

Heck. Just a TV political commercial during a P**********l Campaign in the USA can cost about 2 million dollars. Still cheaper than a Superbowl commercial though.

It is just so sad to see the many many millions of dollars wasted on a two year e******n that would have accomplished the same results in 6 months, if you really need that amount of time to pick the next Pres. The US spends way too much time and resources trying to dig up dirt on p**********l hopefuls. A lot of good would be presidents won't even try to enter the race because of some minor mistake they made in their misspent youth. Your loss. The US has the craziest e*******l system in the whole wide world. We Canadians have always been behind you like a brother but it is starting to become an embarrassment with all the silly crap that is going on over their.

78 days, among longest in Canadian history — will actually cost Canadians more money for a few reasons. First, E******ns Canada will have to ramp up its operation. The federal agency estimates that a typical 37-day campaign costs roughly $375 million.Aug 2, 2015

NASCAR has no one to blame but themselves for the drop in viewers and fans at the track. Instead of letting drivers race they tried to regulate the designs of the cars so no one model has an advantage over the others. The restrictor plates have been a disaster. I can see where they would want to make things safer for the fans but I'm not sure if restrictor plates are the answer. When you get to a "plate" race (Daytona or Talladega) all the cars seem to do is follow one another around the track, bumper to bumper, and in my opinion is the most boring racing I have ever seen. I live a short distance from MIS and I went to races every year. Now, I haven't been to a race in 10 or 12 years and I don't watch them on TV either.

Totally agree. The recession has nothing to do with their problems.

I have a Bose sound bar that quit working while watching TV, looked it up on the internet and was told to unplug it from the receptacle and plug it back in and sure enough it's working again. I have had the Bose 2 years now and have only had to do that twice.
The reason I have a sound bar is that the back ground music is too loud to be able to hear what the people in the show are saying and the sound bar does help make speech come through more clear.

Trying to follow all the steps in that video would take me the better half of a day. It is what it is and knowing the total is not going to change anything.

I went on the Atkins carb free diet and over four months I lost 48 lbs. Cloud bread was on the menu and it's not too bad. Tried different diets with no success. The Atkins diet was easy to stick to.

Good luck with your surgery, Kraken. I'm sure things will turn out OK.
I don't mind the duplicates. Although I may have seen a post before I know there are a lot of people who haven't so it's new to them. And there are times I'll see a joke that was posted before but I forgot what the punch line was.

Thanks for the good luck. I agree there are lots of members that don't spend the time on here that you and I do. Retirement is great.
