The cheaper ones are LED, they work, but are a bit limited. Then they go into real flash. They all serve the purpose for which they were intended. I would start off with one of the LED units; and if you are really going to use it, then into the flash units.
I really don't think that there is any need to go into the expensive varieties, they all work in the same manner.
And the Giants win the pennant, the Giants win the pennant...
Interesting shots. Nice work.
People have asked me many times. First I was scared, but after I tried, it was fun. First wedding, they couldn't afford a real photographer, so I said sure.
Pictures came out just OK, but you know what, they were very excited about getting and keeping them. The people that were in charge of it helped me out and tole me what was going to happen. Learned one thing, make sure that you have enough batteries.Since then I have done a number of weddings and associated celebrations. People are happy no matter what the quality, and now with the advent of cheap photo books, you can even make a book.
What I have learned, it don't be too scared, it doesn't take much more skill than most people have, all you have to do is want to try and want to get better. It is not that hard, and you might even have fun.
They don't get enough credit, but the program could't go on without them.
Thank you.
I also like Fat Albert. This guy doesn't get enough credit for the moves that they put him through.
Great shot. The sky really makes it work.
Have you reached your limitations of the 5200? If you just want to spend money because you have it, then buy whatever you desire. If you are trying to improve your skill, you already have a very capable camera in the 5200. Spending more money on a "better" camera will not translate into better pictures.
I like to document the events, so I photograph it. If they like my work, I continue. If they don't, well I would just go back to your original desires. After all, with digital, the pixels are pretty cheap.
At the start of the Blue Angels show, Fat Albert does the fly by and warms up the crowd...
