I use it as well, but unlike Amazon, it just shows the scanned letters, not packages and doesn’t show that they were delivered. I’ve had letters show up in my daily mail that wasn’t actually delivered. Not often, but it has happened. Scanned, but mis delivered is my guess.

I know that the postal service machines are what actually take the pictures as it moves through the facility but mine will give me the information for packages as well.

Your local post office must do it differently than ours

I'm still trying to figure out how a chainsaw stuck in a hollowed out part of the wall for over forty years was able to start and run so easy

I'm not a horror movie expert, but isn't "Halloween" the series with Jason? Sorry! It's Friday the 13th. So much horror, so little memory!

Evidently, I was passing along bad info that was passed along to me.

The actors -

Ari Lehman in Friday the 13th (1980)
Warrington Gillette in Friday the 13th Part 2
Richard Brooker in Friday the 13th Part 3
Ted White in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter
C.J. Graham in Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives
Kane Hodder in Friday the 13th Part 7: The New Blood, Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan, Jason Goes to Hell, and Jason X
Ken Kirzinger in Freddy vs. Jason
Derek Mears in Friday the 13th (2009)

Halloween was Michael Myers and that franchise is even more bizarre than the Friday the thirteenth franchise.
On a side note it's quite funny how the actual men who portray these evil heartless characters are actually very nice guys off screen.

There have been nine of these, but I had never seen any, so I thought I give this a try.

There have been twelve "Halloween" movies since 1978, with Kane Hodder playing Jason in every one.

I'm pretty sure you are being sarcastic especially since Kane only played Jason a few times however none were in the Halloween franchise

In contrast, Amazon photographs the package at the location where it was delivered so they can prove where it was delivered, and that image is available to you. Of course, no guarantee there’s anything in the box. I will say that I have received literally a hundred packages from Amazon, and unlike UPS or FedX, they are always on my doorstep, and nothing has ever been lost mis delivered (yet). IMHO, Amazon has established the new standard for shipping and delivery that everyone else needs to emulate.

USPS has a program called informed delivery that sends me a daily email of what is going to be delivered and it includes a photo so yes the USPS takes pictures of your items as well but you have to sign up for the service.
I like it because my mailbox is a quarter mile away and I know what I will find before I go check it

I watched it as a fan of the horror genre as well as the Texas chainsaw massacre franchise and I was so let down by this one.

I order a small Canon pocket camera from Amazon. When I got it on Saturday I opened only the canon camera box empty. Camera, battery, and charge gone. Then I turned the Amazon up side down to discover the Amazon tape had been cut and retapped closed with scotch tape.
Call Amazon customer service told I would have to wait till Monday for a manager. Did the online chat thing will customer service a longer run around.
Amazon has gotten too big and the customer service has hit rock bottom. I said if I return something to Best Buy I'm not told I need to wait 2 days for a manager. Going back to the box stores to buy stuff.
Avoid amazon for big purchases as in anything over $100.00

With the level of security in the Amazon facilities I would have to believe that it was during the shipping that it was opened and pilfered.
There's almost no way to steal something like that from a fulfillment center since at the end of the shift every employee has to go through the metal detectors as part of the process of exiting the building.
The only exception is emergency exit for fire or something like that and then you still don't go to your vehicle but to a muster point where management verifies that everyone is accounted for.

If you sometimes need excellent AF get a basic native lens. For routine general photography a 24-70 or 24-105 covers that. I have the 24-70/4.0 and also the 28/2.0, which is now on clearance pricing and a very good buy. It’s being replaced by a more expensive slightly wider much bigger G-class 24mm.

I do have a lens that I didn’t intentionally acquire, the 28-70/3.5-5.6. The specs are not impressive but I do use it cuz it’s such a featherweight. It’s a kit bundle lens and so clean used ones are dirt cheap. For casual use it may be the way to go.

I do intend to as my budget allows however as I live on a limited fixed income I have to do it a little bit at a time for the most part.

Nor should one discount the fact that no adapted lens will function as well as native glass -- adequate, maybe, but not to the full extent of the a7rii's awesome potential.

This I am aware of however I don't have any of the native lenses

The keyword is "peaceful", which we witnessed on J****** 6, 2021 that the trump cult doesn't know the definition of.

What happened on J****** 6, 2021 was NOT peaceful.

No less peaceful than the democrat endorsed B*M protests or to use the correct term R**ts.

As I said, I did not get the memo. But now you've provided it.
In the video Trump said that he "hoped" for large protests in several cities if the prosecutors (presumably DOJ) did anything illegal in their investigation of him.
Yawn.
I ignore him. Why don't you?

And as you said that is contiguous to the prosecutors doing anything illegal.
