With warm weather, the birds are leaving Bosque del Apache early. Significantly fewer in number last of January. Beautiful creatures - mate for life, dance for anything, depend on community for survival, share the workÂ

I ordered the Tamron from Amazon in early Nov. It arrived Dec. 12th I think. I'm very pleased with the lens. Perhaps more than other lens in my experience, it seems like it's important to "cooperate" with it. It is being a joy to learn how...

After watching this site for a few weeks, I've decided to take the next step of posting. I'm from Albuquerque, N.M., about 2 hours from the Bosque del Apache, mecca for myself and several tens of thousands of feathered friends. These photos were taken over the holidays with the Tamron 150-600 on a Nikon 7000.
Photography has been a hobby/passion for some time, and it never fails to deliver. It is therapeutic and creates wonderful community. I've watched this link for a few weeks and am continuing to explore it...
