i like macro photography and shooting things like this fellow but he sure is big and strange looking - anyone know what offical title to this creature is - i am currently in north west alabama in a small town and have seen a lot of these guys

I enjoy giving titles and this is called captured leaf- at first glance it is hard to tell how this happened but i enjoyed the concept so I snapped the print.

I am a avid fan of shooting - i am new to digital and I am in love with it. I am an old purist and had a hard time letting go of the print film addiction.
i am a writer and published poet - I shoot every day and I am in the process of working up a lot of projects for publicaton once they are complete. Digital has allowed me to fall in love with Macro photography, and landscape has captured my attention in a big way.
i look forward to this site each day now and will soon post some of my work - seems like it has a lot of great people on here always seeking to get better with each shutter snap. Photographers are my favorite people.

This guy gave me the creeps and as i got closer i felt he was going to jump on me so i settled for one print


I found this glove when out one afternoon at the park and began to work it into some thoughts on the game- cant help but love black and white- coments welcomed


I was taught years ago in my first class to keep it simple and to work in close at times- it has served me well - dont know why but this is one of my favorite prints -
