A really lovely set! I visited the Gardens in 2007 at the end of an Alaska trip and it appeared much the same then. My photos are at the beginning of this Album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/8712554@N02/sets/72157603512311778/

I guess I'm the only one who does not know what the acronym GAS stands for. (The only use I'm aware of is definitely not this one.)

I am honored that you have managed to visit my sets when you are so engrossed with other matters. There must have been hundreds of sets posted by others to UHH since I posted this one (maybe thousands). I am amazed that you picked this one out to peruse.

Please give my regards to your mother on her 99th birthday!

Excellent set David. That cruise is on our list. It will have to wait until I decide to retire from teaching though.
Thanks again. That cruise is a very nice one. If you do take it, and if you like beautiful churches, when in Quebec City take an excursion to see the Basilica of Ste. Anne de Beaupré and Montmorency Falls. I covered the Basilica in 2 sets: https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-657086-1.html (links to #2).

Another excellent set David; I like the framing in the first one and you did a great job of the stained glass.
Thank you very much. I'm pleased you liked them. How did you come to this set so long after it was originally posted?

Also had a stint in Kaiserslautern, at US Army HQ, General Depot.
I was a computer programmer for Hq, USAFE and NATO at Ramstein AB 1977-1980. I actually retired (20 years) at Ramstein and spent a few months traveling before returning to the States. However, none of my travels went to Rothenburg odT back then. I'm pleased you liked my photos.

Nice series. About 20 miles south of Kitzingen, where I lived for two years in the early 1960s.
Thank you very much. I lived in Rodenbach, near Ramstein AB, for 3 years but didn't come to this town while I lived there.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany

Over the years, I have visited Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Germany 4 times, and I took pictures every time. Consequently, I have quite a number of photos of the place—many more than can be presented in a single set here. Rothenburg has also been the subject of several other UHH members, so I am going to try to select photos that don’t duplicate ones that others have posted. (Some duplication will undoubtedly occur, but I will keep it down.) My visits were in 1992, 2010, 2013, and 2015. Note: many of these photos were uploaded to Flickr with little Post Processing to correct perspective, etc. I did not make an effort to redo that for this set.

I happened to click on an image of your latest, which took me to Flickr, and was scrolling thru some. Stumbled upon these. I kinda do that often, lol. I have been rather(!) busy lately, and haven't posted photos in a while, just comments.
I confess that I do that sometimes, too.
