Is this Texas? I love lonely roads. Live on one myself. Interesting photo. Love the patterns in the road itself.
These are the moments a photographer waits for. You had your camera ready, you were listening for the right sounds and you didn't intrude without the hawk's permission. Wonderful photos.
I think that there are too many photos for the vote. I also think folks should read the directions... way too many photos have nothing to do with the subject matter.
A "compare" button might be nice but fewer photos will give us a more comprehensive vote.
Very handsome cat. Needs a strong name. How about "Nikon" or "Canon"?
Welcome to Ugly Hedgehog. This site is a good place to start. I agree with jerryc41 and anotherview.
I started this "passion" a few years ago with a Nikon D40 kit, went to a D5100 last year and I'm still learning how to use it. Lens are important and they do amazing things but first, for the new digital learner, a DX format, entry level DSLR camera is, in my opinion, the way to go. Don't make it too complicated. It's about taking pictures and enjoying the ride. It's all about catching the moment. Just go out there and have fun.
I love Ken Rockwell. I have gone to his site from the beginning of this passion for photography. I look at other opinions, but I go to him first.
I also send money once in a while because I learn something every time I read what he has to say and that's worth a lot to me.
