Why do lenses cost so much?

In the 1970s a company (I can't remember the name) made an f8 "Girl Watcher" lens. 500mm and cost about $70 and produced remarkably sharp images. It didn't fare well because it wasn't Nikon or Leitz.

Looking for new monitor

NO, I think that you have a LOT more learning to do. I've lived in Muslim countries, and frontiers/boundaries mean NOTHING to Sharia. Don't believe it, read the Q'ran and the Hadith....... Even do it in Arabic, for a better understanding, most of the English translations are "watered down".... I think, especially after seeing many of your posts, that you are "not the brightest lightbulb" around...
