I was at a company dinner recently where the woman across from me bumped her chair and knocked her camera bag to the floor. The Lens Cover pressed into the UV Filter shattering it, but kept the Lens Glass safe. We used a butter knife to pry them apart and she was back in business. I'm a believer!

Starting around 9pm EST (for North America) the Moon and Venus will be just three degrees apart in the western sky, with Jupiter joining only ten degrees below.
