I have a d5100 and my wife has a d3100. I have the 18 to 105 as my "walk around" lens and she uses the 18 to 300. The only downside to the 18 to 300 is it is heavy, other than that it works great.
Great shots. Congratulations.
Very nice photos. I live close to Longwood, but I have not been there in a while. I guess I should go.
Check out A.C. Moore for frames. They have a much larger selection. Use a pencil to mark the back cardboard where you want the photo. I use a spray adhesive on the back of the print and a soft cloth to gently smooth out the print.
I have the nikon AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm 1;2.8 G ED lens I use with a d5100. A little less expensive than the 105mm and it is tack sharp and you can get pretty close. Also it is lighter than the 105mm. Find a shop that has different options and see which one meets your needs. Happy shopping.
I am also, that makes us weird on multiple levels. Isn't that great.
I agree with bob44044, my wife has a d3100 with the 18 x 300 lens. It never comes off her camera.
Masonjar and nikonjon nailed it. Welcome to the home of some terrific weirdoes.
I have a PIXMA Pro 9000 and I would love to get the new model, problem is that my printer has never failed. As for ink and paper, get them from B+H. Their prices are much better than Canon store. Enjoy the new printer.
Nice. The hospital I worked at dis something similar a few years ago. They also included paintings, quilts etc. and there are some talented folks out there. It is a great way to improve the hospital environment for the patients and the staff.
Thanks the posting. I'm form a Navy family, Father (WWII) myself and 2 older brothers.I love that memorial, great photos.
Thanks for the info. Next time I go to DC I will pack one.
