PhotoJosh: Thanks for the tips. I bookmarked the page for future references.
I did do a cover photo once. My sister publishes a magazine, Itineraries Midwest. I shot the cover photo for her magazine a year or so ago. Not paid, but published.
Not even close. Never sold anything. Don't even have the desire.
Try cropping out the two bottom balloons and see if you like it. For me they seem to draw attention from the big blue balloon.
Having made my living back in the 70's working in a photofinishing lab, I have a lot of memories of Kodak film products and processing products. I am hoping they find a way to survive in this new century.
I really like the first stream picture, although I am not too sure about the stick in the middle. I did not notice it at first, but once I did it seems a bit of a distraction. Not that you can do much about it. After all, it is a part of the scene. But very nice overall.
The copy stand reminded me of my days (decades ago) of working in the photo lab. One of the many jobs I did there was doing copy work. While the equipment was different, and probably much more expensive, and of course we were using film, the basic idea and methods are the same. Thanks for the flashback.
I agree sinatraman. Thank you. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading these posts. many laughs throughout the day.
Possibly the funniest posts I have ever read. Great way to start the day.
Years ago I had a similar "white" robin that nested in a tree in my yard. Came back for 2 or 3 years.
