Go to the Navajo Res to see old pickups. They are found in washes and are usually upside down, and the majority are Fords. That is why FORD is actually called "flipped over reservation decoration".

The best time to go into either canyon is between 11 and 1 because that is when the light bounces from one wall to the other and creates great red images. Also do not go during monsoon season as 11 people died there during a flash flood. Monsoon season July August & september.
