Just a hello to everyone. I have described photography as a passion of mine. Granted, sometimes it ebbs and flows a bit. I love to learn, to hear what others have to offer in thoughts/critiques, and sometimes to offer my thoughts as well. My subjects most often are the beautiful landscapes of Northern Michigan (Lower Peninsula) but sometimes, I do family events, or portrait work. I have already visited some of the forums and look forward to visiting more.
I have attached a few photos from the last few times I went into the neighborhood to take photos. Comments/Critiques are welcome.

That is a beautiful shot. I live in Michigan, near the shores of Lake Michigan. I am surprised how fast both photographers and tourists leave as soon as the sun has set. Depending on the available clouds here, about 15 to 20 minutes later, the real color show happens.
