Here in Az I feed mostly suet- some with seed and some without. Less mess, less rodents, less snakes to feed on the rodents, etc.
I have hung a hummingbird feeder and the solutions goes down but have never seen a hummingbird at it. Doesn't seem to leak. And there are all kinds of hummers in the desert around here- everywhere except my yard.

It struck me that people certainly did dress better back then. Interesting images. Thanks for posting.

You caught the essence of your title for sure! Surely the nest wasn't on the ground although it appears to be.

Superb in the download.
Well taken/captured.

Thank you. One of those instances (wish there were more) that everything came together.

Commentary? Nice bird. That one does not make it as far West as California. Therefore I've never seen one live.

My NW friends say the same thing. It's related to the Cardinal. This one is a female- the males are much more colorful.

The information is already on the card suntouched. I've just never thought to tell them to check in on the site so they might see their own dog featured. This is where I send them: https://youpic.com/photographer/Unicorn1

Bob

Great web site! If that doesn't do it...
Maybe you could separate the dogs out from the other images-

Good idea suntouched ..... and I do have them online for anyone to view. Luckily, the cannot be downloaded from that particular site.

Well then- change your business cards :)
If only I could get my dog to be that well behaved- to actually sit on a grooming table by himself. Sigh :)

Nope boberic ....... these photos are for me to share on photography forums. While I hand out business cards and ask the owners to email me, to date, no one has. This is after I have shown samples to them on my tablet. Evidently people are leery of contacting someone they don't know.

Bob- Just an idea- What about handing them a card with your web address and letting them know their dog's portrait will be posted there for them to view. Very "soft sale" and you might get some lookers/buyers. No pressure for you or them. Sometimes it's just too much trouble for people to email you but if all they have to do is go to your site.... I get that this is a hobby for you so this may not be of interest.
