Do you ever print your work? These would be beautiful printed on a textured (photo) watercolor paper. And it would be interesting to see them printed on metal and hung without frame. Beautiful light touch!
I have the EE-1 site on my Panasonic Gx8 and it can be indispensable for locating birds when the long lens is zoomed out. It is very compact, the red dot is easy to see, the battery has a long life if you keep forgetting to turn it off (easy to do) and it's simple to set up and use with good results. Before I got this, the bird was likely to be out of range before I located it in the VF :) The only issue that I have had is that once calibrated it's quite easy to knock it off site by rotating the adjustment wheels accidentally (easier to do than you think). This is simply USER error- not a product malfunction.

We have nine feeders out and docks of birds, but this is one we have only seen in Madeira Canyon. Great capture
Thank You! Love Madeira Canyon.
I took a typing class in high school and even if I am away from the keys for awhile my fingers remember.
Thank you! Actually this wasn't at my feeding station - it was at the local riparian center. And yes I put out suet but it hasn't attracted woodpeckers to it. Mostly all I get are finches, sparrows, occasional wren, quail and pigeons. I have never seen any birds at my hummingbird feeder and yet the solution needs to be replenished (?). I don't put out seed by itself because here it attracts mice and then snakes. To put out seed I would need to find a way to keep the seed from falling to the ground.

ebay is now fighting a requirement to collect sales tax.
It's probably just a matter of time before the Internet stores are forced into collecting tax for every state. California requires it now. But until they do....
Having a great time at the hummingbird feeder!
I have not run into problems buying from Amazon but I use them as last resort because they collect tax in Az as they have a physical presence here. My preference is not to pay sales tax of course especially on large ticket items.
Articles like this one is a good way to kill off the Pentax brand making consumers afraid to purchase. That would be a real shame.
Really nice images especially the Cactus Wren looking into the nest! I have been chasing a Cactus Wren around my yard but no sign of a nest although he did pick up a mate.
I use auto ISO in birding. It often means the difference of getting a good in-focus shot or not. I have found that using high(er)
ISO (3200 and even up to 6400) that doesn't need much correction in post is a better final image than one with low ISO requiring more correction in post- especially lifting shadows.
