I had the same trouble after I bought a Pixma Pro-100, I opted for the Spyder5Pro monitor calibration software and am satisfied with the results. It has made a big difference.
How did you have time for photography or was that your excuse to get out of the house?
If you can get your hands on a Tamron 60mm Macro give it a try. It will shoot a 1:1 and will be in the 90mm range on your DX.
I am an amatuer at best but manage to surprise myself and other people every so often. I do have a quality camera. I am satisfied with the equipment I have at this time. I need to be able to recognize what makes those surprise photos surprises. If I had to give a number or ratio of keepers to discards I would guess 2 or 3 out of ten. Thank God for digital! Anyone know of a good online course to help someone like me? I live in a rural area so I don't have the advantage of having a local group nearby. Recommended books and Authors? Thanks
I get good service from Cameta although I haven't been around as long as some here have. Tge person I deal with is always prompt with a reply and knowledgeable about the product.
