Thanks for checking it out. I might try a higher shutter speed next time but for the most part happy with the capture.

Not bad at all. I've done much worse. vz
Thanks Raz. They're definitely tougher to catch that most BIF.

If I had been clever enough to think about a shot like this, I would have gone for it. Really nice.
Thanks Angler! I haven't been on for awhile as my music business has been incredibly busy.

Nice shot Rob.
Thanks. It was an interesting 15 minutes of shooting. These guys move quickly.

I think this is a really cool photo! The lighting is quite nice and a very interesting flight position over that attractive plant.
Cardinals are faster than I thought. Trying to capture this one was a challenge but I did have fun trying for about 15 minutes!
Regis, you sure set the bar high. Always enjoy and try to emulate your work. Great shot!
You are correct. This Osprey used the decoy that's suppose to keep him away as a perch to search for food. Too funny!

Nice catch.
Apparently this Osprey has no respect for owl decoys...in fact, used the owl's smooth head to defeat the "don't perch" devices on the piers.

Again, I couldn't resist capturing this beautiful bird in Naples, FL. Using Nikon D500 200-500 5.6, ISO 100
Really nice shots. I think I saw Neil's footprints in one of them!!
I've been using drones professionally for a year now. It's not worth going to Costco, Walmart, Target, etc to get a drone with a camera with quality video. Like others, I sucked it up and bought DJI Mavic Pro. Well worth it. DJI has a new one out called DJI: Spark. Excellent drone for a few hundred less. Google it. I'm sure B&H carries it.
Thanks. We had minimal damage. We got power the night we arrived. Very lucky. However, we still do not have internet. Very frustrating. You forget how much you rely on it for almost everything. Could have been a lot worse. The area around us got hit very hard and will be months before cleanup is completed.

This is so beautiful, Rob! Love the reflection! How is your home back in FL?
Thanks, the next day we got the outer bands of Irma and it was quite a different view. Glad I got this shot.

What a beautiful image. The cabin looks so serene. I like the boat at the bottom of the stairs. It is just a wonderful shot.
Thanks. Very lush area. Unfortunately they got the outer bands of Irma and we had to eventually evacuate. No power!

Beautiful shot rob! My sister lives in cashiers . It is a beautiful place...i've visited there several times.
Thanks. They are telling us our community will get power restored on the 22nd. Not good!

Beautiful image. Best wishes on your return home! We have power and water back at my house with little damage, so we were fortunate over here on the East Coast of Florida.
Thanks. We are headed back to a mess in Naples Thursday. Fortunately, no structural damage. Still no power. Thanks for checking out the image. Beautiful spot.
