My point was that I was responding to a narrow comment about Pearl Harbor and Muslims. Then someone wanted to discuss invasions by western nations throughout world history, which is beyond the length and breath of the little box we can write in. I merely suggested that we limit the discussion to the topic at hand. I brought up the use of cuffs because it was appropriate at the moment. It was not a history of handcuffs throughout time.
