A GREAT catch ! ......thanks for sharing
Thank you Larry. I shot this thru my sunroof after getting underneath this pair.
I was a little close for the 500PF. I was reaching between my front bucket seats to the backseat for my D800E with a 24-120mm and the two Eagles took off. I took this shot yesterday.

Great set! Golden eagle?
Thank you Tim. 'Golden Eagle' was in my title was that correct ?
The winter weather conditions are just right to cause these conditions.
I took these at the Florence River Park, Colorado, one of the places
that have public access to the river.
In the last two shots you can see 'Ice Circles' in the foreground.

That's wildlife, time to start a 2024 'Stare' album.

Nice shots. How lucky to have a d Tailed Hawk join the photo shoot.
Thank you Mico54. After getting the Eagle shots I went shopping at a local
store. I was going to go home from there, but decided to return home the
same way I came. That is when I spotted the Eagle and was taking a few shots
when the Red-tailed hawk came into frame. The Red-tailed hawk was above the
Eagle and kept climbing until The Eagle went another direction.

Very nice work!
Thank you Mike. I was lucky I didn't get out of my car.
As I stopped in front of a ranch entrance, two dogs came
running out circling my car. I missed the take off but got a
few bursts off.

Great bird nicely shot
Thank you Jack. I missed the takeoff, but this Eagle did a few
circles for me, that is when I got a few shots.
Thank you Ken, fun to know where they hangout.

Wow, lucky you to get to see it. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Nalu. This was in the general area where I have
seen them before.
I spotted this Eagle on a power pole at the entrance to a ranch.
I was able to get a few quick bursts as it as it took off
and circled the ranch before it headed for the foothills.
