Geeze, Denny. I thought it was just a cool pic of a hot girl. I didn't know you were making a statement about guns.
if I were to be critical, I would say, why not take out the dead branches in the right background? they ARE distracting. who needs distracting?

I would have liked to see more of the girl's midriff and maybe some tummy. I'll bet she has a great one. who doesn't like more tummy?

I think the color of the top would have been better as a bright green. might as well draw the viewer's eyes right where we want them to go, no? who doesn't like their eyes to go there?

and--- about that heavy jacket--- why don't we just ditch that while we're on the subject of clothing?
who wants to see a hot girl in a big ol' heavy jacket?

The sunglasses make me wonder if she had them on at the time of the shot (double or triple meaning), and, so, was shooting partially blind. surely a big no-no. who doesn't like a hot girl (and she obviously is) wearing sunglasses?

I wonder if she owns that gun and has never had any safety training. BIG no-no.

why is she waving that thing around so carelessly like that? (who doesn't like a hot girl waving things around?)

I hope you didn't intend this as a firearm training-aid for men who want to learn about firearms and their proper use. (but if you did, you certainly found the right visual prop to get a male's attention)
If that was the case , I think you missed the boat by not hiring an NRA Certified Instructor to supervise the shooting(sic) of this photo.

When I first saw this, I thought it was just a fun photo. now I'm just confused. I don't like to be confused. who wants to be confused about this pic's meaning?

I've included a pic of another girl who is apparently a gun owner. she seems to be headed to the water with her surfboard. I hope she didn't leave the weapon in her bag back by her beach blanket. if she did, I sincerely hope it is unloaded, the safety is on and it has a trigger lock in place and is booby-trapped so some punk can't get his hands on it and use it to rob a 7-11.

can't tell by the reverse shadow (which I surely wouldn't mind seeing more of) on her back if she packs with the safety on, but I sure hope so.

DANG ! and in the beginning I really liked your picture, too. now I guess I'm just in a gun-tizzy.

OUCH ! my tongue's getting all cramped up, being all wadded up over there in my cheek, and all.

generally, if I'm going to shoot with direct flash, I'll lower my contrast so I have more range to work with in post. I know this was just a test and it looks like you'll get good results with this setup.

also, Jean< good use of manual. many would just let the camera do thier thinking.

and they would spell their correctly, too.

Oh kay I have to say, Did you mean to do that? No don't answer.

The first three were those that I used to splice to get the max details of the whole truck to insert into the bridge shot, so no download of those.

Were these shots taken in Tacoma, WA? What road was that vantage viewpoint taken? I have been trying to find some vantage points to take photos of the two bridges. Lord knows, I have crossed those bridges a lot.

North of Jackson Street is the new site of the memorial. Up on the hill by the fence in the scrub.

Yes still do part time have been an owner/driver for the last 40 years, drive a 28 year old International 9370 with just short of 3 million miles on it which I purchased brand new. Anyway I enjoy truck and farm tractor stuff, by the way your last photo was very well composed.

Thanks for the kind words. Watch out for the other guy.

That's a lot of axles which equates to a lot of weight moving down the highway. Nice series of photos, being involved in the trucking industry I found them interesting.

thanks, Bum. did you drive?
