Docrob got it right.

Isn't it very interesting that during one of the most contentious Republican primaries with its unprecedented number of debates, not one mention was made by anyone regarding George W. Bush in all that time?

1954. Several each of Contaxes, Pentaxes, Minoltas, Yashica TLRs, Mamiya TLRs later, and settled on Nikons (both film and digital slrs) for the last 35 years or so.

There is a free utility program called Instant JPEG from RAW that you can find online. Once installed on your computer, you just call up any raw file, then right click the mouse, and a menu containing the program will come up. Click the program name and it will ask whether you want a separate folder for the jpegs or place each alongside the raw pics.

It is very fast.

SOLD! I have a used Minolta Dual Scan ii slide and negative scanner for sale. It is in excellent working condition and comes with the negative and slide holders, the a-c power adaptor, the original CD program disk, and the manual. The only thing missing is a USB cord which is readily available just about anywhere.

I have not actually used it for scanning for about six years since I went totally with digital cameras. I think a buyer would need to download new driver software for it from the Konica Minolta website, since I believe I was using Windows XP the last time I used it.

Everything is in excellent condition. I did plug it in to make sure it worked, and it did. Google Minolta Dual Scan ii for a complete description. If requested, I will supply a couple of photos.

The kit weighs about 9 pounds or so ready to ship.
Price: $50.00 plus shipping to CONUS only. Shipping via UPS should be about $16.00. Buyer can ask for alternate shipping.
I don't use PayPal anymore. Check or money order please.

Check the number of transactions that the seller has had on eBay and make sure to check his/her eBay feedback. Anyone with dozens of transactions and 100% feedback should be a safe bet.

Avoid a seller with very few transactions and sketchy feedback.

WITHDRAWN: I have a Nikon Coolpix P7000 with accessories for sale. The camera was purchased from Cameta Camera ten months ago as a Nikon refurbished factory demo camera. It is in excellent ++ condition, has performed flawlessly, and its photo quality is superb. The firmware has been updated to the latest version. I cannot find a way to determine actual shutter count, but I would estimate that I have taken about 700 exposures with it.
The camera comes with everything that would have come in the original box, but as a refurbished factory demo unit, it came in the box pictured with the Nikon refurb. label on it.
Included with the camera and all the original accessories as pictured, it also comes with the additional items: two (2) batteries, two accessory tubes for attaching to the lens mount, which allow you to use filters or supplemental lenses, a 58-52 reducing ring for mounting the common 52mm size filters such as a UV, polarizer, crosstar, etc. Also included is a Magic Lantern guide to the camera and a folded laminated PhotoBert shortcut guide that easily fits in a camera bag. Not pictured but also included is a NIkon View NX dvd that came in the box. The LCD has a clear protective cover on it, and I will include an extra cover w/ instructions as a backup.
Price for all is $215. I'll ask $10 for shipping, and pick up the balance of shipping flat rate insured.
I have bought and sold on eBay for about 10 years and have a 100% positive rating with almost 90 transactions as marcman66.

Another vote for Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or A.C. Moore for frames and mats. Rather than having the store frame and mat your work, shop their selections of both and do it yourself.

Also, check out documounts.com or lightimpressionsdirect.com for online shopping for mats and frames. There are others, but I have had good luck with both.

100% for me as well. Born in early 1943. My first car at 15 was a 1941 Chevy convertible, canary yellow w/ black top, white fender flaps with ruby studs. Wish I had it now. I don't even have any pix of it. Good times gone.
