nice shots Mark, how's my home town these days?
I would like to upgrade my camera, a canon 400D. Also as I am taking an interest in aviation/wildlife photography, my lens also. My lens is the 70-200 F4L, which is a bit short. So, as serious saving is going to be involved I can't do both! I was thinking of the 60D or a used 7D. For the lens, how about keeping the 70-200 but adding a 1.4 extender, or the Canon 100-400, Sigma 120-400? I would love the 70-300 L, and in all honesty would use it more often as a general lens than the other two. So, which first , camera or lens?
Thanks.
Thanks for the replies, as budget is going to factor, what do you think, Camera first or lens?
I love these pics of my grandkids enjoying their food. How about yours?
Just a few photos, all straight from camera 'though some cropped. Comments or critiques welcome.

Thanks guys, i'll try and get some "snaps" on soon.
Hi All,
First my current equipment, Canon 400D with kit lens, Tamron 55-200 zoom, and Canon 70-200 f4L zoom, Sigma 10-20 wide angle. I would like to get into Wildlife/Aircraft photography. I am thinking of the Canon 650D or 60D, or poss a used7D for the Camera. For the long lens either ( again used ) a Canon 100-400, or poss Sigma 120-400. I have read that both lense are a little soft at the 400 end, 'though little difference between them?
Thanks for any advice. Gerry.
Hi all,
Hello from Oxford. My name is Gerry, I'm more of a snapper than photographer, though I hope to change that with your help in the future.
