I had purchased a Canon package from a Hogger some time ago. Included was a 17-85 mm lens. It seems the auto focus does not work. If you’d like to play with it and see if you can make it function correctly I’ll send it to you for shipping cost.

Thank you, Marg. That area seems to be her home - I've only seen her and no other Kingfisher there.

Hopefully she has or will have a fella, too. We had a pair at our cottage and I rarely saw them together. When they did appear at the same time they were accompanied by an almost absurd amount of chatter.

What a great spot to rehab! Nice shots, Gary. Hoping for a speedy recovery and no need for further surgeries.

Walking along a very busy street in downtown Toronto we came upon this pair of boots sitting on the sidewalk. Upon returning to our hotel some 9 hours later they were still there. There has to be a story behind them but 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nice shots, Floyd! While I really like eagles, osprey are my favourite raptors. Can’t get enough of them!

I should add that I vaguely remember having a little brown square camera for a short time as a kid. I guess it would have been a Kodak Brownie. Do not recall ever having film for it and I’m sure I got tired of it very quickly. Lol

Nice shot, Jerry! May I ask how and with what you provided the fill flash?

I received my first camera, a Canon t4i) as a Christmas gift from my hubby in 2017. I was 67 years of age. It took me till March 2018 to gather up the nerve to start playing with it. I was so intimidated. I have since added an 80D but still use the t4i a lot. I’ve been thinking I’d like to try full frame so have purchased (from here on UHH) an old Canon 1DS and am just beginning to play with it some. It’s really cool and I think I will want a newer (and lighter) full frame for macro.
