Chose to lighten up a few areas very much like others, loved the stonework on the building!

I posted my own edit of this one a while back and several people commented on the various possibilities for editing. You'll find it's a data-rich file that can take a bit of pushing and pulling in PP, so if you want to go bright or dark or whatever, there should be enough to give you what you're looking for. You have a choice of JPG, TIFF or DNG.

Feel free to download this photo to your computer. You can then edit it any way you feel is good. Composites, adjustments, black and white conversion. Let your imagination be your guide. When you are finished, post your edit in this thread. We will accept edits until Thursday at 9:00 pm. After that we will go to voting. Thank you for your continued support of this event.

We moved up to Nashville, Tn. Love it here but realized we lived on the island 20 years too early lol. It’s nice to know we have a place to come to now but in “off season”! Traffic was horrible during this time of the year.

We moved to Ellenton, Fl. on March 7, 2018. Depending on traffic it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the Beach Café. We go down to the island 2 - 3 times a month, great place but the traffic is terrible. Really bad now since the snow birds arrived.
Where did you move to?

Don

I agree! The Tokina 100mm is a steal at that price! I would normally say invest in glass but what I would do is find a slightly used D7200 and get the Tokina 100mm. The nice thing about the 7200 is the availability to use AF on non-motorized lens so you could pick up some great used lens' for great prices. The Tokina is a fantastic portrait lens so the AF would be beneficial to have double usage on it! If you looked up the camera pics on Flickr, you would love what that D7200 can do and you would not have to upgrade in a long time as it is a "pro-sumer" camera.

Check out the Tokina 100mm Macro. It’s a great value, decent quality at a decent price. It will give you way more working distance than the 40.

Hey Don, How long have you lived there? We lived in the Holmes Beach section for about 7 years (My husband and I ran the Seaside Inn and Resort in Bradenton Beach) We really miss the island - my mother just bought a small condo on Longboat Key so we are looking forward to being able to visit more frequently!

I don't think so - I may be wrong :( Your Pentax macro should work great if you have an adapter - I am very impressed with the Viltrox if there is one available for the Pentax to Fuji X!

I’ve often wondered if Tokina made lenses for PENTAX. The Pentax 100mm macro for example. Anyone know?

These are all so good! It was between #3 and #11 for me. I loved the download on #3 and it would look very cool as a big canvas but #11 was so well done so I will pick #11.

#11

I have a Viltrox Nikon to Fuji X that I use for my Tokina 100mm (a lens I couldn't bear to give up when I changed ;) with aperture controls - manual of course. It works beautifully! The Fuji 60 is a 1:2 macro where the 80mm is a true 1:1 - I think you would be happier with your Pentax until you save up for the 80mm in my opinion.

The extending one. I didn't know there was an IF version?
