It is a comfort to know this.
No. They are whining, self absorbed snowflakes who are obviously "progressive" Hillery or Bernie voters.
I use the Gary Fong Lightsphere with great success, often off camera. At a Canon seminar I attended a couple of years ago they suggested for a quick fix, grab a couple white barf bags on your next flight. Puff one up, slip it on your vertical pointed flash unit and hold it in place with a rubber band. Needless to say, these take up no space in your bag.
By the way, Westminster Abbey does not permit photography inside by the general public....they want you to buy their picture books etc in their store. Hopefully they will give her group special permission. The same thing for Windsor Castle. The British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum do allow non flash photography and are well worth visiting. In France, the Louve and The Palace of Versailles do allow non flash photography. Just say'n.
The San Diego zoo has a few photography workshops each year with two pro photographers leading a group of about 25. You arrive at the park at 6:30 am and are taken to several exhibits well before the park opens to the general public. Zoo personnel try to get the animals in a position for good shots. Sessions take place on two succeeding Saturdays. See the San Diego Zoo website for information. I have attended two sessions and enjoyed them, getting some great photos.
They were touted as being well managed because of their profits. Why do you think they came up with the pressure on their employees that led to this mess?
With the hacks that have gone on (like Target experienced) I use cash as much as possible. At the beginning of the month I take a fair amount from the bank to cover groceries and restaraunts as well as my wife's beauty parlor visits and my barber.
I'v been to the Canon repair facility here in Irvine then in Costa Mesa three times and received great service each time.
Perhaps the celebrities who win oscars, etc. etc. should be taxed on their trophies and the goodie bags they receive. After all, are they not professionals also?
No way!!! Hillery is in the pocket of the big corps. Where do you think all the $$$ in the Clinton Foundation came from?
Have a Benro carbon fiber monopod that fits in my suitcase. It is tall enough for me (6'3") and has flip adjustments. It handles my 5D ll with my 100-400 lens plus 1.4x extender. It has a foam cover for the 1st segment, and I use it instead of a cane even with the big rig in it. It has a swivel foot that works great, and provides a larger area to meet the ground. I have been very happy with it.
My son was a scholarship football player at an NC AA. D1 school. We appreciate the education he received there, and by the way he later earned a masters degree. However, in light of the millions that universities rake in from major sports programs, the least they can do is to provide decent stipends for their athlete/benefactors. I don't advocate big salaries, but we had to subsidize him to keep him fed. Athletes in sports with lesser interest are carried on the backs of football programs. This teaches those students that equal outcome is owed to them, unlike the real world. And by the he way, I would be surprised if the income of an Electrical engineering/ Computer design major has not handsomely compensated a $65,000 debt.
I have a Benro carbon fiber monopod with flip locks. I needed one that was long enough for me since I am tall. I've used it extensively, and use it in place of a cane. It has a movable foot that provides some stability an ease of movement to get the shot I want. Much more convenient than a regular tripod when I need to keep up with a group. I like it a lot.
