I've seen it advertised on tv also. I believe it is just priority mail.

Ok, first let me say, I am new at this. I got my T5i just about a week before we left for our 2 month trip. Really didn't know what I was doing (still don't) but I did put a hood on the lens. After taking a bunch of pictures of the Corvettes that went down into the sinkhole I sat down to rest my back and looked at the pictures I had just taken. In most of them I could see the hood along the sides. The lens I was using was the 18-55 mm and I think I was using the widest angle the lens would go. I learned something then and removed the hood. As most of the pictures I was taking was in a crowd of people I really needed to use the widest. My question is did I get the wrong hood or what?

That old car looks like that log on the left side of it was at one time on top of it. Wish I could find places like that in my area.

I've attached a photo that has plenty of noise so you can see it. I've exaggerated the noise to make sure it's very obvious.
So here you are...

Thank you very much for the pictures and explanation. Now I understand. I guess I'm the kind of person that has to see things to understand.

Here's our heterochromic rescued Van cat "Jewell"

I'll assume that Jewell is all white and if both of her eyes would have been blue she would be deaf.

In New Orleans we had a wooden rollercoaster that was called the Zephyr. Oh I used to love to ride that thing.

Well going back I used the punched cards and wired boards for collators and accounting machines. Then to get the cards ready for those machines they had to go through a sorter umpteen times. Then I moved up big time and went to computers, but still with punched cards.

Hey Kathy....a Sony that records on floppy disc (3.5" ).....I still have mine somewhere.....that was a big fat 1MP at max resolution.....you know that is going to look non too detailed.
I don't like the word noise because it is as obnoxious as the people who use it all the time....same with Bokeh ! 8-)

My great-nephew who is a senior in high school came across one of those old 3.5" floppy disc and asked his mother what it was. I asked her if she remembered the 5" floppy disc. She did vaguely. Her mom had one of those old Sony camera's also. After her mom passed my niece found boxes and boxes of pictures and notebooks with camera settings and other info. I explained to what her mom was doing. Things do change.

New to having a camera that isn't point and shoot though I'm still using my Canon Rebel T5i on auto. I've been wondering what you guys meant by noise in a picture and finally did a search to find out what it was. This caused me to have another question. Way back years ago I had a Sony camera that stored the pictures on a floppy disk. When I look at them now they look grainy. Is this because of the ISO or because of low MP?

Interesting...You are right -more work with dogs!
I raise English Springers and they are a lot of work, for sure...but I've got to say it's a labor of love-most of the time...It makes lots of families very happy -they have become our extended families...It's been 20 years now and it's such a pleasure to hear from them...but, I still have a small place in my heart for pLUTO
and I love kittens,too!

I'll always had cats. I was told that my dad taught me how to tame a feral cat when I was 2 years old. That wasn't my only feral cat that I tamed. Told hubby that if he wanted to marry me he had to put up with my cats. There have been many through the years. Dogs have masters. Cats have staff.

We inherited a 17yr. old Pluto from our son last year...He's now 18 and change. Has intermediate diabetes which I've had to cover with insulin shots and frequent urine testing to be sure he's on an even keel. He's a very loving putty and enjoys his diabetic food very much...I'm really a dog person but Pluto has stolen a small part of my heart !

My husband was a dog person when we got married, but now he knows how easy a cat can be. When we travel we take the three of them with us and don't have to rush back to let them out to pee. Missy loves to travel, TT tolerates it and Baby gets motion sickness the first few days. After a few days she gets alright. One time we went on a road that make me nervous and all three cats got sick.

This is the Big old softy in our house. This is Missy and she is a 14 years old Persian, with TT being 13 1/2 years and Baby is almost 13 years old. We have some cats as old as we are. We understand when they move slow sometimes.

Had a cat named CC once, for cool cat. Brought it home from the plant as a kitten. Was going to name her TT for trailer trash, but the first thing she did was crawl into the bottom shelf of the refrigerator when it was open. First vet visit they spelled it Cici, so it lost a little of its true meaning.

TT got her name as a hand me down. We had another cat that didn't look at all like TT #2. I wanted to name this TT Tinker Belle, but I lost. The way Baby got her name was because of TT. Right after we got TT my mothers cat died and mama was well into her 90's so didn't want to get another cat as she was afraid the cat would out live her. Then she asked if she got another cat would we take it after she died. So we went back to the lady we had gotten TT from and got a 7 week old kitten. TT was 8 months old when we got her. Before giving the kitten to my mother I had to get all of the knots out of her fur, treat her for flees and have her check out by the vet who was amazed with the ear mites the kitten had, too. So back at my house TT had found a new toy, the kitten. She would roll her around and lay on top of the baby kitten. I started calling the kitten Baby. When we gave her to mama she called her Baby also. Then mama had to come live with us, dementia was setting in and some of the things she would say about Baby were extremely funny. One morning when I brought her breakfast there was a brown paper bag all crunched up on the floor. She told me that Baby had had kittens during the night. One of them died and that's it on the floor. Sad but funny at the same time.

Been there many times. Even remember the old bridge. Didn't know the train went into a tunnel. Is the tunnel on the MS or LA side?
