I think it is all in good focus. The eye looks clear and crisp to me. The natural coloring of the giraffe is softer on the head. I think that can be misleading.
I also find that with all the photo editing programs sometimes we (me included) over edit or over sharpen. This picture IMHO is spot on as is.
Sorry it took me so long but thank you for your kind comments
While driving near the Chickamauga Battlefield park we came across a group of 5 homemade covered wagons parked in an abandoned gas station. They were fashioned by a group of retirees who make treks in a wagon train around the south. The mules and horses are all matched pairs. This journey is from Mentone, AL to Townsend, TN. At 8 AM the only woman on the trip, Barbara, was tending the mules and horses as they waited for the others to return. They cover about 20 miles a day. The round trip is about 340 miles. They bring their own hay and water. Barbara said they have a blast.

Very nice series of pictures. You are making me ask the question as to why I do not use my SX50 more. Thank you for sharing...
Yes, the 737 was part of the show. Sit back and enjoy this virtual show on us from the comfort of your room. The show started with a parachute team jumping into the spectator area.
Great pictures you have. Thank you for sharing.. :)
Well less face it I have loved aircraft since I was a kid and watch "The McConnell Story", with Alan Ladd and June Allyson. So here are some more planes.
Driving in the country produced this old red barn, the owner said it was built right after WW1. The sun was overhead and shined like a mirror on the new steel roof.
Another great old barn. SO much history. Being an old farm boy these were a very big part of my life. Great shot. Thanks for sharing.. Got anymore of these? :)
