Amazing photos and what an awesome adventure that must have been.
This was an awesome adventure, made that much more wonderful because I was able to bring my daughter with me. The trip of our lives.

we have nesting osprey here in Unalakleet, alaska. They 'borrow' the electrical T poles and produce young ones. They leave before the cold sets in .. wonder where they fly to.
Perhaps they fly here 🙂

Beautiful set.
Thank you...Very lucky to be able to take this trip.
On Safari in Samburu we were fortunate enough to come across a Cheetah in a tree who appeared to be posing for a photo op. This animal was a magnificent creature and was soon joined by a younger friend that I was able to capture running. Later, in the Serengeti, we encountered another Cheetah who was relaxing in the sun after enjoying a meal (notice blood around his mouth). He then got up, walked over to a tree and "marked" his territory...you can see some urine droplets, and then meandered away. Africa is truly a photographers' dream.
I found this nest on top of a telephone pole, close to the road, with a white head poking out of it. I parked a few hundred yards away and tried to sneak up, but those eyes saw me and instantly 2 birds were gone. I was able to follow their flight and did get a few shots, but their patience far exceeded mine and I only had a 24-105 lens with me. I discovered they were Osprey and was surprised to learn they nest this far north.
I believe this is a female...she has a “necklace”. I just found a nest yesterday and caught a few shots of the residents..though they were far away and I had the wrong lens with me.
Either someone has a very sick sense of humor...or this is a subtle hint that co-workers are a bit “chubby”
Sooooo adorable....lucky pooch to find such a happy home. Congratulations to all.
Great photo of a creepy crawler....gives me the willies
What fun...Kermit would be jealous!
Such a beautiful animal and your captures of her brought a smile to my morning.
Thank you, my friends. I so appreciate the help. Wayne...the ski season has not been a great one, and yes, it is nearly over. The lifts close on the 15th. Linda, thanks for telling me to resize...I will attempt that for my next post. And, I had no clue about the button!
