Like what I said before, in the real world, the math don't always agree.
Math is perfect, the real world is not. Your plan would depend largely on the image quality at the start. Aside from losing pixels, cropping makes the errors pronounced.

Math is perfect? Then, why has no human ever been able to completely solve Pi? Is the computer that was assigned that task finished yet, or is it still working on it? Just asking for a friend. 🥸

Can you elaborate?

Not really; nothing I could point to and say that right there. Something just doesn’t look right to me. I hope it’s not my problem, but then I haven’t seen my ophthalmologist since this damned epidemic started either. 🤷🏼‍♂️

It's going to be your print so it's your opinion that matters. Personally I don't care for the effect but I might like it a bit more if it was softened a little.

I agree. There’s just something about it that looks a tad off.

One problem not mentioned so far is where you might hand your camera to someone else and they rely on the shutter button focus and don't know or understand BBF. Then you have to take time, sometimes for a complete stranger, to show them how to shoot one shot on your camera.

The hardest thing I’ve encountered in that scenario is my son’s head. He refuses to accept the fact that it really is not as difficult as he tries to make it.
“Just put your damn thumb on this button and your finger on that button. Press with your thumb first.” Next complaint, “It won’t focus, it’s blurry.”
“That’s because the diopter is set for me, not you. Just take the friggin’ picture and check the screen - perfect ain’t it?” Then several voices join the choir - “What’s a diopter ?” “Do I look like a f&@$ing photography instructor?” It’s such a rewarding hobby - my grandchildren have learned to cuss like sailors. 🤬🤦🏻‍♂️

I didn’t read every response to your query, but I think I read enough to see the direction they were headed. None of the multitude of data available in the metadata can answer “how far away from your target were you”.

Is thete a “Dummies” or “Idiots Guide” for the D3200? Much easier to use/understand than the Nikon manual.

Certainly not a matter of either B&H or Adorama----Why not just have a VISA account with a financial firm which will still be in business for lmany years to come---like FIDELITY INVESTMENTS. They use a bank in Missouri---but Fidelity will be around and will not summarily be rejecting cars---nor will online merchants.----

The #1 attraction of using the Payboo card, which can only be used for purchases from B&H, would be the IMMEDIATE rebate of the sales tax. This in combination with free shipping and damn near immediate shipping and delivery, except when your order is placed on or just before Shabat or a Jewish holy day/holiday.
You're not getting that from ANY visa, mastercard, or any other bank card.

This thread got me to revisit the three credit score services that I can use for free whenever I want. One is Transunion using a model called VantageScore 4.0 and another comes from Transunion using a FICO model. There is over a one hundred point difference between the two. The third one is an Experian score that also uses the FICO model and that is over seventy points higher than the other FICO score. If I had more energy I'd order my reports from free credit report and find out where the discrepancy lies, but I don't... have more energy, I mean. Maybe that will help the OP explain his variation?

They all have different parameters, and empasize different aspects of your credit history. Auto financing doesn’t have the same priorities as a mortgage lender. Other factors impact your insurance rates, landlords’ acceptance, dso on and so on ad nauseum. In the end, it’s all a scam perpetrated by all those businesses looking for a way to pick your pocket.

You might be old enough to remember Detective Jonn Jonezzz (spelling is probably a tad off) from Mars. He’d feel right at home. 👍👍

Cold for sure; but, it doesn’t strike me as lonely. Lonely is sad, this doesn’t feel sad. Sometimes, the solitude of a back road with no one else on it can be comforting. But then, I’m not always fond of “other people”.

Why use store cards when Visa and MasterCard are available?

Well, this particular store card (Payboo) gives you an immediate rebate (deducted from the invoice amount before you even get billed). That alone, could be worth more than the “reward points” you get from another card. No annual fee, again, unlike a lot of other cards. AND, most, if not all your B&H purchases are shipped free and usually deliver within 2-3 days. That 29.9% interest is all on you.
What’s not to like.
I DO NOT NOW, NOR HAVE I EVER WORKED FOR B&H, OR ANY DAMN BANK - just a satisfied customer. And, that’s absolutely no s**t!

I’m guessing you were replying to my reply to Quixdraw’s reply to…oh hell, I forget. I’m not the patient - I’d rather I was - but, thanks for the good thoughts. And, yes, she is much better today than she was a week ago, Thank God and a boatload of fantastic nurses and a few good doctors.
