From the D500 User Manuel pdf: The focus selector lock can be rotated to the locked (L) position following selection to prevent the selected focus point from changing when the multiselector is pressed.

What exactly does this switch due that is located next to the multi selector button?
When switched to lock does it keep the setting set for all pics taken? Nothing is mentioned in the manual or or on line. Please advise. Thanks, Allan

Is the new D7500 camera that much better than the D7200? Is it worth the upgrade. I would like some feedback and comments. Thank you.

Here's Steve Perry's take on it:

Mama Carolina wren works hard to feed her babies in the birdhouse on our back porch.

Nice shot of her, and breakfast!

The only strap I'd recommend, and use on all of my 35mm cameras is Upstrap. http://www.upstrap-pro.com/

These are wonderful people with whom to deal and they have a great product and great service.

I agree, and it's a MADE IN THE USA family business. I got the Mountain Hybrid Pad Camera Strap and Sling.

From their website: "When it's used as a sling the pad rests comfortably across your shoulder positioning your camera on your opposing hip or lower back.

During the classic shoulder strap carry style the flip side of the pad has our amazing non-slip tread allowing for a simple relaxed shoulder carry. The unique oblong shaped footprint provides stability while distributing weight off the peak of your shoulder."

And as William Royer posted "they are unmarked and unobtrusive, which I like in terms of not drawing attention."

I just downloaded an eBook - "Secrets to the Nikon Autofocus System." Good book for a good price, from Steve Perry of Backcountry Gallery.

You may and to try Camranger. I use it to display portraits to family members as I am shooting from my camera, but you can also use it to shoot directly from your iPhone or iPad screen. Camranger creates a wireless network for communication between the camera and your computer or other device and does not require a wired connection.

I've used it with MacBook Pro, iPad & Android phone.

Can you re-post, and check the box labeled (store original) so we may enlarge to appreciate resolution and detail?

I agree, it's kind of pointless to post without the download available.

I agree, and don't care where the photo came from. We shouldn't put up with the crap they're tossing at the USA! It's time to stop this inanity. Sucks to live in this s**tty liberal state!!!
