On a photo trip to a bird sanctuary with a local friend in Ria Lagartos near Cancun in Mexico I found this Northern Pelican wintering in a harbor at the quiet fishing village of San Felipe de Jesus.
Later on this one was joined by others and took off for a distant part of the harbor.
