Very nice set, I really like the first and third photos. I was only at Glacier once that was on 9/11. It had a somewhat calming influence to what was going on. Not many people there back than.

Thank you. You would be amazed at how many people come to the park each year now....it's to the point that the locals don't go to the park till after tourist season is over...way to many people now.

Beautiful spot. I suspect it gets very cold in the winter but as the scandinavians say it's just a question of how to dress for it or where to go for the winter months.

Thanks and yes it can get very cold here sometimes but once you learn to dress or whatever activity you are doing outside...it makes it fun to play around in the snow!

Beautiful images, Cindy. You prove that winter can provide some very appealing landscapes. I’m sure that is the case down here if I could just see beyond the gray, leafless forests and lack of greenery. You inspire me.

I love that contemporary style cabin, too!

Stan

Thanks Stan. It can be hard here as well when we get the inversions that make everything gray and no sun for days/weeks and so on. So I take advantage of days like this when it does look pretty out. An I love my house too!

Beautiful snowy scenes! They do greatly resemble B&W, I just had to zoom in to see the brown in the 1st one to be sure it was in color. Snow definitely adds to the scenes!

Thanks Doug and yes I agree...you really need to look to find the color in the bridge and the rocks. I just might play around and see what I can do in b&w.

These are lovely images. Snow can be so pretty (when I don't have to be in it). I really love the pictures of the river snaking its way through the snow.

Thanks...it really was a pretty day to be out and about ... since it was new and very very fluffy snow...it was easy to walk off trail in it and kinda fun!
