I was just curious how this was going to play out. Thanks for sharing the pictures, I had never seen one of those.
I see these things around "the city" mostly in front of empty spaces that say E-VEHICLE ONLY. The reason e-vehicles are scarce: Limited range, mediocre performance, high cost. If you were to take government subsidies (your tax dollars) away from e-vehicle companies, they would collapse like a house of cards.

I only wish "The System Bag" was still in manufacture. Owning Lowepro and other bags have never equaled that magnificent bag.
I have a few to get rid of. What are you looking for?

I'm guessing you're asking about the netting around the baseball field... ?
Netting, but of course. Where was that taken? Was it near Dodger stadium?
By the way, welcome to the site.
Well said. I like the sihlouetted palms, distant the buildings and the city lights. Good color too. I particularly like the transition from orange to blue, but what is that shadow on the lower left?
Is that for quick charging a cell phone? LOL. Your tax dollars at work!
Thank you all, for the good suggestions. The waist strap is a good thought, too. I'll check out Camelback and LowPro more thoroughly.
That's what i'm looking for!
Thanks Ron!
I have about 6 bags, none of them are quite right for my intended use. Fire sale coming soon. What I'm looking for is a small slender pack, like one of the smaller "slings", but with two straps, a quick release for easy access. A separate lined pouch for a water bag, would be a nice feature.
I ride a bicycle/motorcycle and want to take along one camera, and perhaps a couple other items, like a phone, cleaning rag, lunch, maybe a couple filters, etc. I also hike and ski. I need a small light aerodynamic bag. Slings are pretty close but they sit sideways and they invariably shift when riding, which is not good. That's why I want two straps (backpack style).
Any suggestions?
I would be thinking something different ... 0.6 Graduated ND.

I like it...white cats can be difficult to get a good exposure, they tend to blow out in areas. You did very well on this one.
Thank you! The soft light helped a lot.
Smudges shouldn't be there but are removable.
Internal debris is another issue. The specs do not appear on the image, correct?
Maybe what your seeing is normal. You can always expect to see tiny internal specs etc when looking at any lens from any manufacturer using a strong external light source.
The book "The Lens: A Practical Guide for the Creative Photographer" by
NK Guy, covers that topic well. It also provides a good body of general knowledge on the topic of lenses.
There are many other books on lenses, and also info available on the web. If your still concerned you might consider doing a little more research on the topic. You might also go to a camera store and have them render an opinion, or contact Nikon for an opinion.
