I'm new to this outfit as well so welcome to the bunch! As for what you should do, keep taking pictures every chance you get!
A little off topic (but still pertinent), Eddie Van Halen was asked once what made for good music. He replied "if it sounds good to you then it's good music". That's pretty much my philosophy towards a lot of things, photography being one. If I take a shot and I wind up liking it well then it's a good shot! If someone else likes it as well then so much the better.

Thank you all for the kind welcome! It's nice to see a forum where people aren't tearing down others because they're not a "professional" or their shot is a little askew. I'm looking forward to being a regular contributor as well as learning a thing or two.

Seems I fell down a rabbit hole here on the WWW and came across uglyhedgehog.com. Looks like a good place to learn more about making my photos look great!
Looking through some of the topics I see that people seem to enjoy sunsets so I found a couple that I thought I would share. These are from South Padre Island, South Texas. Don't remember exactly but they're a couple of years old, taken with an Olympus E500. I'm looking forward to seeing everyones great shots in the future.
