Broad brush character attacks rather than discussing the issues is the democrats modus operandi. Maybe you need to look that term up too. It refers to criminals.

Really?? How pathic are you?? Again kinda lame. Now ask yourself do I care what you think??

Didnt know Timothy Mcvey, Adam Lanza and a host of others were Muslims.
Or maybe, youre just wrong.

Were they Christians??? Perhaps you assumed they were. When you make assumptions you inherit the first three letters of the word.

I think people should mind their own business. Since we are all “guests” here, Chris has every right to start as many threads and what ever topic as Admin allows.

Go to most topics that include pictures and it is crystal clear that most of us should be concerned with our lack of photography sk**ls and not be concerned with what other people are doing.

The Koran does mention k*****g infidels. The Bible also mentions k*****g non-believers.
All religions are inherently evil. It's just the name of the god that's different.
BTW - Atheists have no Bible or Koran and we really don't want to k**l anyone.

OK. Every Christian is not a terrorist But every terrorist is a muslim.

Linda, I am always appreciative when fellow photographers view and comment on my photos. My sincere apologies. No disrespect was intended in any way. I guess I just personally feel like multiple thank yous are annoying. But a couple of thank yous along the way would have been nice and appropriate on my part. Thanks for calling me out. Not to worry.

I don't want to beet a dead whores. But the attitude that form and mastery do not matter, if everyone knows what was meant is BULL. It started in the mid 1960's and was the downfall of our education system. We have never recovered. Noise on the communication model defeats the communication.

Oh, God. Did anyone not know what he was getting at???????????

You don't know that there is no 6x7 digital imaging sensor.
Your camera when in P and S automatically set to the smallest f/stop that perhaps because you automatically set the camera to the highest ISO available.
And yes you're a pro as you have worked for Olan Mills.

Man, who is this guy who has everyone's panties in a bunch???

Why do we leave these people into our country?? The true Muslim believes in the Korean, Their bible, that tells them they should k**l the infidel. Guess who is the infidel? You got it, anyone that dose not follow their Korean. Our country was founded on religious freedom. But that don't give them the right to k**l anybody. Its a good thing that a lot of these guys are on the FBIs watch list. And thank God we can send them to Gitmo where the bleeding hearts cant get them off.

The muslims perceive us as infidels. This BS we h**e them and they love us is pure garbage. They will never be a cultural assimilation into American life for these people.

Last week I traveled north from Seattle to Fir Island where the Dunlin congregate in large flocks when the tide is right. When you find them they will often, to escape a raptor, take off in large numbers creating patterns in the sky that are amazing and hard to describe. Natural fireworks is as close as I can get. These photos do not do the phenomena justice but I hope they give you some sense of the magic. It is quite a sight to see live and in person.

Really like the first one.

i have two photos of a friend of mine and her dog. I would like to print an 8 x 10 and frame it for her for Christmas but can't decide between the two. One has both their eyes closed and the other open. Which do you recommend? Thank you in advance.

I don't usually react to speling errors. I create typos myself so how can I be critical when someone else does? However, in this case I feel compelled to speak up. Language is something we are gifted with so that we can communicate with each other as clearly as possible. Whether the word is censor or sensor, it was possible from the context to garner meaning and thus to know what was being communicated. So a correction wasn't really needed.

At the same time to correct someone is also positive. Language is a collection of sounds and words whose meaning is agreed to by us all. So in this case one can argue that the writer was doing someone a favour by offering up a correction. That kind of assistance helps us to always keep our language relatively pure. So the correction should be appreciated.

Where I have a problem with this posting is the response to the one offering the correction. I think that the sarcasm about the spelling of Nazi is unwarranted and below the belt.

So we have three players here. Let us forgive the one who made the typo, we all make typos sometimes. Let us thank the one who offered the correction for it helps some of us improve the use of the language. And let us feel sorry for the one who feels the second correction was out of line. They serve a useful purpose too, they make the rest of us look really good.

I purchased a refurbished Nikon from Roberts Camera I had a problem with it and they sent me a new one. I don’t know how they made any money on it as they paid shipping twice and they were more than 100 dollars cheaper than Nikon.
They never said a peep about it and just sent me a new one.
That is service.
Cheers
Ron
