It is unenforceable on public property ( sidewalks, street, etc.).

I believe it is clear it is aimed at a street photographer engaged in the business of offering to take photos for $$.

I still shoot 95% film. In 35mm, I shoot Nikon, Canon, and Leica. Some of the old best lenses from these manufacturers still seem great to me, but I do not know the other side. Those of you that have used the best of the manual lenses mounted on digital cameras, how do they compare? I would be especially interested reports on the cheaper old lens that are surprisingly great (IMHO): Nikon E AIS 50mm 1.8, Nikon 135mm 3.5 AIS etc.

Thanks.

Adapters are pretty cheap. Best to just try and see of you like it.

If I knew what they were I might be able to answer your question.

Extinction meters. Zero electronics. Highly dependent on your perception of shades of gray.

I agree!

I personally feel there would be SOME market for a true SMARTPHONE/PRO CAMERA combination with Interchangeable/Pancake lens & physically larger sensors.
Is a viewfinder too much to ask for?

Any votes?

Might be easier just to wedge a phone into an existing camera design!

To get a bit "philosophical:" There is no real camera. All cameras are real. [Except dog squeaky toys shaped like cameras.]

There are those who used pinholes, others delight in "toy" cameras. Some love Leicas.

The big question: Do you like the images you create?

Many thanks! I was interested enough in world religions to take it as a college major at UCSB, Much later, I handled press relation during the construction of a shrine to Our Lady Of Guadalupe in Lacrosse, WI. It's huge!
Periodically relics would be loaned and put on display.

A 1st class relic is an actual part of the saint. So that tooth is one. A 2nd class relic is something used by or belonging to the saint.

Relics are not to be sold, but owners get around that by selling the enclosure and the relic is a "gift."

There are, of course fakes and forgeries. Lots of bits of chicken bones in fancy reliquaries on eBay.

Relics do not have magical powers, etc.

I doubt if that app is copy protected. Why not copy the entire folder to a USB stick and see if it will install from there?

I think there are some apps to make a "virtual" CD/DVD drive, but try the least complicated way first.

Went to a Gen Z wedding (relative) this weekend. I was NOT asked to take photos and so I simply brought along a little 12 mp Powershot with an optical viewfinder. About the size of what once were a pack of cigarettes. It was outdoors, with a big tent full of furniture, food trucks, DJ and the whole (probably expensive) works. The bride & friends wrapped all the trees with lights and here and there were iPads encased in stands that were motion activated, took your photo and emailed it to you! This shot was of a couple hamming it up for the photos.

Pretending DSLRs are superior to the corresponding mirrorless models in August 2023 are just more ludicrous statements from the DSLRinosaur crowd. If only closed minds came with closed mouths, especially when all the knowledge and evidence is everywhere to find, to know, and to buy.

What is the saying? Opinions are like noses. Everyone has one.

However, many don't mimic certain politicians with cheap shots.

"even if there were people in the foto, it wouldn't matter."

Don't bet on it.

If they see the photo and feel it shows them is some critical way, or if they have religious reasons for not wanting photos...could be trouble. Under 18? More trouble.

That's why there are model releases.

First, you were in a private venue, not a news-type event, photographing NON-PUBLIC figures, perhaps some under 18, without model releases.

These days, people are very worried about "creepshots" of young girls, etc., ending up online.

There are many permutations these days of what is considered a valid "public" photo.

It's a complicated world.
