And the heathen of Moab did reach beneath the seateth of his Jeep, and the angels did produce the Holy Poncho. And thus did the Moabyte go forth to the the Land of the Touristites, and did stay dry [more or less-ishly*] beneath the falling rain.

*in the original Aramaic, this portion of the scroll had been eaten by moths --or maybe it had been eaten by ravens?-- so it was omitted in the King James version while conversely, it had been included in the Vulgate translation, where it says, "got drenched anyhow." To very few people's surprise.

Oh, about the pic? Shot a short while ago.

I will resize it later tonight. It was over 25K pixels wide, and compressing the JPEG to 50%, it did load. But when the download button was pressed, it was like looking at 400%. No middle ground.

I will reduce it to 25% of the size and try it again.
Thanks for trying.

There it was - resting peacefully atop my outdoor propane tank. The shots were taken with my Nikon D850. The first two were taken with a Tamron 70-200mm zoom at 200mm. For the third, I attached my Tamron 150-600mm G2 and shot it at 600mm. Photos were processed in Lightroom and Photoshop as well as Topaz noise reduction software.

Jeff, 3 awesome images.

Thanks for showing the picture of my Jaguar XK 120 sitting in my driveway. If you would have knocked on the door my butler would have invited you in and we could of had one of the maids serve us tea and crumpets...Oh, wait...that was in a dream I had once.šŸ˜œ

Great dream. Keep dreaming!

Iā€™m in my nineties and still use my D850 and the Holy Grail set of lenses. However I also bought the Nikon Z50 kit with a 16-50mm , 50-250mm, carry case, memory chip, battery charger and FTZ mount adapter for about $1200 when it first came out. I am pleased with it as a carry around/travel camera. I was on board a ship just east of South America and ordered it from b&h. Wonders what communications are possible!

Stay well Johanna and keep shooting.Have fun.
