There is no electronic connection with this adapter . There is no way to change the aperture on the lens. I am trying to change the aperture through my camera.

Dear All,
I will be showing my ignorance with this question-so here goes.
I have a Sony A7 ii camera, set to manual, with a Canon EF 35mm f/2 lens (set to MF on the lens) and attached to my camera
with a Fotasy EF-A7ii adapter. I am able to adjust my shutter speed, but I am unable to adjust the aperture.
Should the aperture change on this lens??

Does anyone have experience about the Asahi Pentax M42 Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 being radioactive?
I agreed to buy one on eBay, then started reading about it's radioactive possibilities on a google search.
I should have investigated the lens more thoroughly before pressing the "Buy it Now " button.

Great service from our fellow HOG "Blurreyed"

Dear fellow HOG’s,
I would like to call your attention to the excellent advice and service that I received from one of our members whose call name is “Blurryeyed.”
I bought a Vintage lens from “Blurryeyed” and the condition of the lens was so clean and sharp when I received it that I thought it was a new lens.

Thank you for your response. I am going to buy an 85mm lens. Do you have any idea how a Minolta 85mm F1.4 DG lens, or Sony ZA lens 85mm F1.4 Carl Zeiss PlanarT* would work with a Sony A7 ii full frame camera. Also Sony is coming out with a Sony FE 85mm F1.8 according to their website. Any advice I would be appreciative.
