A zoo that is full of animals! What will they think of next! :)

You got some very nice shots. The leopard really looks great as it could just as easily been shot in the wild!

Spent some time in Northern Mississippi with my best friend and oldest daughter last week. We spent a morning looking for treasures and found a few willing subjects.

Had a chance to visit the Memphis zoo last week. Got these in before the monsoon started.

Nice. Very nice. Heard so many good reports about the Tamron 160-600 and I can see why.

I haven't shot the Sigma's but I would say that based on reviews if I had to choose between the Tamron and the Sigma Contemporary 150-600 I would go with the Tamron. The Sigma Sport 150-600 is in a different price class altogether but I hear it is excellent.

That's awesome to know. I went to a camera store in Bradenton the other day and put that lens on my Canon 40D and they let me take it outside and take a few shots with it and mess with it a little. I'm torn between the Tamron 150-600 and the Sigma 150-600. The Sigma has one additional element and a dock for firmware updates but it's heavier and doesn't get as good of reviews as the Tamron.

Thanks for looking and the kind comment. I was free hand panning them when I took the photo. Despite the size of the lens it tracks very well free hand. Like a fine fowling piece :)

That's the lens that I'm trying to get my accountant to let me buy. Great shot of the ducks. Were you free hand panning them?
