Art doesn't have to be "figured out" but I see this as a photo-turned-art, and I find it confusing. Rotated 90 degrees CCW makes it more understandable for me.

Agree. Makes it less confusing.

I would go for a golden retriever any time.

If you're recommending the golden retriever, why are you showing a picture of a yellow lab?

Where was she when I was 17 in '64? I don't remember girls looking so lovely.

ED BOLTON I SEE THE PROBLEM HERE AS BEING INTENT. CLEANING UP A PHOTOGRAPH IS NOT THE PROBLEM AS LONG AS THERE IN NO INTENT TO BE FRAUDULANT OR DECEIVING. IN THE COURT SYSTEM CHANGING A PHOTOGRATH IS ILLEGAL, TAMPERING WITH THE EVIDENCE. INTENT DETERMINES WHY YOU DO WHAT YOU DO !

Really, Jerry? ... I'd NO IDEA there was any such thing!!!

That'd come in real handy with cams w/o Auto Sensor Cleaning, huh?

You can still get gunk on your sensor even with auto clean. I check my sensor periodically with my sensor loupe.

Yes. That’s one of my pet peeves...

Something can be MORE different than something else is different. But one thing is always different FROM another thing.

It is a term of art in digital photography with a generally accepted meaning.

Get over it.

I had to get over "between" being used for more than two; "impact" becoming a verb; don't get me started on "affect" and "effect" and ohh so many more instances of degradation of the language.

The one that irritates me is someone saying "this is different than that". One thing can't be different " than" another. Correctly, "this is different FROM that. Yes?

The etymology of the word comes from "hustera", the Greek word for "womb".

I was always under the impression that " hyster" came from hysteria which is my wife's permanent state of mind. Hysterical.

Most of the photographs in this section are inspiring. These even more than the others. Makes me want to hire a model and give it a try.

Here's another vote for the Canon Pixma Pro 100. Great value. Look for rebates from Canon.

On Sony a6000 series mirror-less dig cams, the VF is on the far left end of the camera ... but, it's also an EVF - reading the image direct from the sensor ...

Other Sony designs - like the a5100 - don't use a VF at all, and rely on the user pixel-peeping the images off the LCD ... which many other designs also do ...

My familiarity with other mirror-less design dig cams, apart from Sony alphas ... is quite scant ... so, I shall leave it, at that ....

I know next to nothing about mirrorless so at the risk of asking an asinine question, where's the viewfinder and how does it work?
