Portland and the Nubble are great lighthouses but another favorite of mine is Pemaquid Point. A bit of a drive south from Damariscotta but ,I think, worth it.
We took a drive to Ogonquit, ME. over the weekend. Just south of the town is a place called Perkins Cove, which looks out over the ocean. Hope you like the images. Rich
Welcome to "my neighborhood." You captured it well.
I have the B700. I bought it for the 24-1440mm telephoto lens and 4K video capability and the ability to shoot raw. I bought a couple of extra batteries for it. I shoot manual and get great results in jpeg or raw. If you know how to use it this camera can deliver stunning results at 1440mm (full optical zoom) handheld. The flash unit is powerful enough to shoot indoors in dim light. I have a bunch of dslr's and lenses and this has become my most used camera. It's light weight and fast focusing too. I generally shoot at iso-100 to get the best color and sharpness.

What software do you use to process the RAW shots? I haven't tried it yet but I know it isn't Nikon's usual NEF.
I recently bought one and love it. It's a great "grab and go camera" for those times when it doesn't make sense to round up a bunch of DSLR equipment. I am attaching a couple sample shots.
Recently, I had to travel to Idaho for a few days. The purpose of the trip was not to shoot photos so I brought only my pocket sized point and shoot. Here's a couple from the few shots I took, all in the city of Pocatello.
