Beautiful shot, the lighting is spot on, and the model is lovely. I love shooting redheads and old barns, so this one ticked all the boxes for me.

A good article. I have been using this system for over fifty years, and when I switched to digital I used it immediately without even thinking. His book "The Camera" is a constant companion, and its concepts are completely compatible with any DSLR that has a Manual mode.

jeep daddy, as with all of my models, I saw and made a copy of her drivers license before I started photographing her. She looks older because of the makeup she put on before I photographed her. She looked like she was sixteen before that.

Catnlion, my late wife was 4’ 8”, and I am 6’ 2”. We were together for 45 years until heart disease took her away from me. I have always had a special attraction to smaller women, and Texie is no exception.

I got the opportunity to photograph Tiny Texie last month at a friend's studio. She is in fact twenty-two years old, but is only 3' 6" tall (that is a 4' measuring stick she is holding). She bills herself as "The Worlds Smallest Adult Entertainer". I am certain that some of you may not care for her, but I was enchanted by her uniqueness.

Thank you Graham. We raised our children in the same manner that we were, and my girls are raising their children as close to the way were (in the current environment), and they all seem to be doing OK. My eldest grandson just graduated from Basic Training.

Main light to her right and high, pointing down. Second light to her right, at her eye level, pointing straight at her. Both of those had soft boxes on them. The third light was next to the camera with a beauty dish.
