The New York Times says it like it is. If you like the t***h, give it a try.

As I have seen in the instructions given on YouTube by a museum or two, the light tent provides non-glare light. The light sources are set outside the tent, the light penetrates the diffusible cloth and the subject within the tent is bathed in light which is even. This method particularly is useful where glossy photos, framed pictures under glass, etc are being photographed. I have to record small things and items as large as chairs and need non-glare [which a flash will make] results. I am open to suggestions and am ready to learn more from all of you. Thanks for your input.

I need to take photos of artifacts for local historical society. A light tent would be perfect. Anyone have one that they want to sell? The larger the better, for size.

I have had good luck by spraying WD-40 over a tissue laid upon the tag, etc intended to be removed. Even the toughest ones come off, if you are patient.

We had one in town. My 1940 Ford needed parts regularly from them.

I have to admit that I mis-read your message and failed to get a grip on your grips. Simple Green , applied with cotton Q-tips would surely clean the grip surface. Sometimes just water, carefully applied will do the trick. Good luck!

Friends! When your lens becomes difficult to focus, the original grease has aged to the point that it no longer works and has solidified.. A complete teardown is required. Anything else attempted will probably ruin the coatings on the glass elements or spread that old grease all over the lens themselves.

Very nice shot. I think that this Model A is a very early 1928 or perhaps from their first appearance around October 1927. It is unusual as it has higher mounted headlights than the those Model A's introduced just a bit later. These earliest Fords were called 'AR's. Henry Ford was wont to use up old parts first, thus this car has a Model T body. Ford made many little changes all through the Model A production period.
