carpooling was encouraged for the same reason that electric vehicles are being promoted. The only thing that will infrastructure to grow at a more rapid rate is more need for it.

Car pooling has been here a long while and it promoted less traffic and encouraged carpooling, a 90 thousand Tesla, or a $30,000 Prius with one occupant is not a carpool. My tax dollars and your tax dollars are paying for these free rides in the diamond lane and all the tax credits they get.

Nobody ( at least not I ) said Israel was “ targeting civilians. But attacking targets that have civilians is wrong . American doesn’t do it . Why should israel get a pass ? Find another way .

I would guess that once Hamas quits using civilians as hostages and shields Israel might also. In case you have forgotten, how many civilians did we waste during world II, and how many civilians did we vaporize in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Israel is responding in like manner to which they were attacked.

The answer is close the border and allow entrance at controlled border stations only. Simple, just think of it as your home, if you have unwanted guests from your yard in your home then you close all their entry points. Just think we have a population of i******s that is larger than the population of the Gaza Strip, we could be inadvertently allowing an invading arm to just walk in, just a thought, we may awaken one day to what Israel woke up to a few days ago. America first on our shores, the rest can kiss my butt.

Without a customer base, the infrastructure will never be built. Without the infrastructure, the customer base will increase very slowly. That's why government subsidies make sense. What hybrid do you drive, and how do you like it?

Blg comfortable Toyota Avalon, hope to get 300,000 miles on before I kick the bucket. It runs great, drives great, and gets 35 plus miles per gallon mixed driving. I do not believe in the extent of giveaways the Ca. gives purchasers of EVs. Let the manufactures build the infrastructure to support the switch. Currently they are using the diamond lane to entice people to purchase expensive EVs, I find it very wrong to clutter diamond lanes with one passenger in a costly vehicle, the diamond lane was developed to entice carpooling, not to be a EV lane. We should check on how these vehicles are taxed for road use as we are in our fuel taxes.

In 50 years if the technology evolves and EV’s are the most economical and efficient mode of t***sportation then I’m fine with it even though I’ll be rotting in the dirt then.

When we had the infrastructure in place to support a switch to all electric then I am on board, been in a hybrid for 10 years now.

Would explain why it sounded like you had been there. Sad but common story. I played with it for a while. Wouldn't say it did me any good, but when it quit making sense to me, I quit. I guess some people can't. I don't really think it's evil, but I know I'll never use it again. Quit cannibus a few months ago because I knew I might have to test. I'm feeling good and don't know if I'll use it again or not. It's shown that some things I thoight might be cannibus, is just old age. Wasn't something I wanted to know.

Played with Cocaine about a week and a half, other than that only pot, but thanks to ex friends I got to suffer sneak attacks from Crank and PCP dipped joints. Alcohol makes me sick, the rest of the s**t takes me where I do not want to go so good weed is my choice.

And yes friend old age sucks in that way, to much time to think about what ails you.

I worked for a successful business run by a well respected man, that was until he found cocaine and hired his pusher, in less than six months the business was gone, the house was gone and the family suffered greatly. .

Cocaine will do that to you, it will make you sniff your fortune up your nose and when your pockets are empty you will searching the carpet for the rock you might have dropped.

Answer: You must have missed my post to another item that was partially answered there:
Here's why the real estate over appraisal is a real problem:
https://slate.com/business/2022/09/trump-lawsuit-real-estate-appraisal-taxes-seven-springs.html

So he over-appraised to get better rates from the banks, and gave lower appraisal for the tax authorities. Less real estate value = lower taxes. There's also a problem from a capacity standpoint - if he's sucking up loan capacity it means that someone else might not get a loan or a loan at a higher rate. Likewise there are capacity problems from a property insurance point as well, and a real problem if there is a loss - in insurance with large property values there is what is called an "agreed amount." If the insurance companies have a loss and they agree to Trump's he is recovering a fraudulent amount, the insurer loses money and shareholders suffer.

Then you have the charges for having classified documents.

Answer: There is a significant difference between Trump's documents vs Biden and Pence. The National Archives tried repeatedly to get Trump to return the documents. There was over 100 classified documents, 18 of which were top secret. Through his lawyer he advised they were all sent back, they weren't. He asked people to hide the documents. He reviewed some with uncleared citizens, per his secretary, putting national security and our military at risk - all to feed his ego to show how important he was and is. He admitted that he knew it was wrong, but he did it anyway. Biden's were 20 - to 30 no top secret and co-operated immediately. Biden as President can't be prosecuted while President, the file is still open.

Then we have Georgia.
Answer. The b****ts had been counted 3 times. Trump was asking the officials to find 11,000 + v**es; to do such is criminal. He pushed getting f**e e*****rs. That's a crime.

I'm not saying Trump is innocent of everything. I'm just saying that it is very obvious that he is not being treated the same as Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, H****r B***n, Joe Biden, and James Biden.
Answer: Personally I think Hillary should have been punished for using a private server; so should Ivanka and Jared who did the same thing. I think H****r should serve time, his investigation, charges are active. On the Joe and Jim Biden it is still being investigated; what's stupid is that Jordan and the House are pushing for an impeachment/trial without confirming evidence - stupid. Trump's his own worse enemy - his lawyers have told him to keep his mouth shut. Instead he has admitted on several these issues that he did it. His answer, per his lawyers on many of these issues should have been "I don't recall." Joe Biden, amazingly, has kept quiet. The ship, whether right or wrong, has sailed on the Clintons.

What Trump did is play the edges of the law consistently; in these cases he went over the edge into criminality. Trump didn't help himself when he pushed the "fixed e******n" when all facts and investigation are to the contrary.

Look I don't like either. Both Biden and Trump are too old, too much baggage. I live in fear of Biden dying and the VP taking over. I don't think the Dems have anybody waiting in the wings. I do think that some of the other Republican candidates are of interest.

My 2 cents on the above. I'm off to see my granddaughter's soccer game - have a nice day.

Many moons ago in my first or second year of Civil Law I learned that the courts found it legal to keep 2 sets of financial records one for the Govt and another for other purposes. Now let go and check my memory.

Our software piracy laws are used to restrict other than factory repairs on items. I believe they can't do this on cars, but they sure can on construction, and farm equipment. I understand that John Deere comes after owners of their equipment with both barrels blasting if they want to fix their own equipment.

Deere is the Monsanto of Farm Equipment.

Baby steps okay with you? Let's begin with the first suggestion.
How can we: stop the division that is still going on?

Perhaps by stop insulting each other?

Perhaps by realizing that we are not as bright as we think we are.
Perhaps by broadening our Horizons, If you are left watch Fox and the right should watch a little of everything else.
