Why is the U.S. government paying for the replacement? Isn't there insurance on the ship?
Yes, love this lens. I have two just incase.
There was a time when I wouldn't buy bigger that 4 GB for my cameras and 1 TB for storage but the reliability of devices has become more reliable and sturdy. I remember dropping a 2 TB drive as I was loading my Drobo and thought "Crap" there goes 2 years of photos, but everything still worked.
Funny but I do bird calls, ...here Pigeon, here Robin, here Blue...
I use several drives on my work station. I'm fearful that they will fail and they have. My backup is a Drobo on another work station that is completely separate. I do expect a crash so a third backup is also running. Truthfully I purposefully don't connect all to copy at the same time and off the same Bus because I know the sh-- will hit the fan sooner than later.
Beautiful, thanks. Not even pigeons here in the central NH.
I had one of these and probably still do in the back office that I haven't visited in twenty years. When I used this older version I found it very useful. Glad to see that A newer version is on line, I'll probable be purchasing one as the memory is fading. Thanks for the heads up.
I use Extension Tubes for "Macro" along with bellows and reversing rings. I find that mose "Newbes" to macro photography never learned the "in and outs" of using what they have to accomplish this task. It's a shame that schools have done away with their darkrooms and classes on photography and are teaching what they think young children should know about their pickles and lack there of. I hope I didn't get too political here enough to be "non-published" in my comments. Anyway, I'll publish some photos as soon as the latest 24" of new snow melts and normalcy returns.
Fortunately I do have the require filtration for both my Visible light and my Infrared cameras. With at lease 4 cameras I will be one busy boy. I have intervelomoters outside the ones supplied by Nikon and with various settings from 30 to 40 seconds I hope to be successful in my endever. I wish you success also and hope we cam compare photos after the event on April 08. Cheers.
Yes, B&H has really good products, purchesed from them since the 80ies.
If you are thinking about the solar eclipse you'll need a 16 stop ND filter.
