Wonderful shots, Val. You have more courage than me. I'd still be running. :D

John

Thanks John, It was good to get close to them. I had a 50 -200 lens on and the chap knew what he was doing. Mark who owns the snakes and Jason who is involved with the shop have their licences to keep venomous snakes so I felt quite safe. It was too good an opportunity to miss and soon hope to get baby dwarf caimans pictures. :D

Great shots, out my way we call 'em "buzz-worms".

Thank you chase4 , great name for them you have. I think I would have a normal worm near thanks. I think next month they are having baby dwarf caiman n on an evening so I hope to get some shots then. Its the only way I will get up close.

I went to an evening talk on venomous snake at Kernow Exotics in Truro and we were allowed to take pictures. Here are a few I took.

Kingdom of Bahrain is where I live because I work here. These are some of the pics I took here, a small island country in the gulf. Hope you like it.
I work here in this beautiful country but my home town is Darjeeling, India. And Darjeeling, in the foothills of of the mighty himalayas is a whole different story.

Great shots, welcome.

Just messing with the 35mm lens.

Had the wife hold up a piece of white foam board behind Violet while violet sat on the top of the barco-lounger. She didn't even look up from watching Lost...lol..

Bounced a flash behind my left shoulder at 1/4 power.

Snap snap....

Done.

Nice one
