I have a camera shop about 10 miles away just outside Mechanicsburg, Pa.. It is a small store called Carlisle Camera. Don't use them often but they are there when needed and seem knowledgeble.
Keep sending. Love old planes.
I have the 7D not the 7DMII so I only have a slot for a CF card, But I was thinking that maybe it defaults back to the SD card each time you turn it on.
Yes it is . Very tranquil.
I really like the first one. A great shot. What lens did you use?
I have shot drag races before as a spectator. Usually I shot with shutter priority at 1/1000 or used the action setting. I panned in both cases and got excellent results but I don't believe I got the blur that you're looking for. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck. You'll have a lot of fun.
Really like the last one.
Some photos of our Church Camp at Doubling Gap, Newville, Pa.
You are right. It is the Star Barn along side PA 283. I used to live right in front of it. It has since been disassembled and is being rebuilt in Elizabethtown, Pa. It is unfortunate that it was unable to stay where it was. Where it is being rebuilt at, you will no longer be able to see it from the road. At least it is being saved.
If I didn't think some bureaucrat might actually think that, it would be funny.
Very nice photo. There are several B17's flying today. My father was a B17 pilot during WWII flying 30 missions with the 91st Bombgroup out of Bassingborne England. My favorite one flying today is the Nine-O-Nine which is a replica of a B17 from my father's Squadron. The Collings Foundation owns that one. I had the opportunity to fly on it a couple of years ago. A wonderful experience.
Heard another story of a man who bought his wife a brand new pair of expensive golf shoes for her birthday. No one really knew she was an avid golfer but thought it was a very nice gift. He said that she was not an avid golfer but while watching her cut the grass one day he had a great idea of showing how much he cared for her by giving her these shoes to help her save time. He figured that if she wore the golf shoes while cutting the grass it would enable her to aerate the lawn at the same time. Don't know how that is working out. Haven't seen him in a while.
I agree. I have been going out there to do mission work with the Church of God for 10 years. I have developed a great respect for the Navajo people and have become good friends with some. It is a very fascinating culture but unfortunately there is a lot of poverty. They are a very proud people. The Native American Reservations are sovereign nations with in our nation and should be respected.
Some photos taken from Buffalo Pass in Arizona on the Navajo Reservation last Sunday the 14th.
