I have a Bell&Howell Super 8 Autoload Model 431,and it's in a nice case. I wonder if it has any avlue?
I guess I'll have to throw it away.
I've been making more room in my attic.

This run of answers really made me chuckle.
How did it get to him getting a girl?
The comments sound like a lot of the have a girl and don't like it. :)
I have a Sony a99 that has an "A" mount.
Now Sony's new camers have a different lens mount.
I understand that there are adaptor rings to adapt my A mount lenses to Sony's new cameras. What loss am I looking at?
I use Corel Photo Paint to try and make my shots look as neer to what I actually saw and took.
I have seen pictures so pretty that there was no doubt that they were Photo-Shopped or something. This I'm not interesed in doing, for too many reasions to list here.

I know this will bring on all kinds of ridicule but here's my sugguestion.
I love my Sony a99 which has been replaced with a new model now (a7rII). Bare in mind that Sony makes most of the sensors for other major brands. I then found an arthor by the name of Friedman who has a book out on most all of the Sony models. I found it to remove most of the hard learning curve. I still am loving the pictures that I get.

I want to ask a question.
It's probebly a stupid one....
How can I convert 7X to mm for instance or reverse?
I keep looking at cameras that have say a 300 mm lens
or say it has a 7X zoom lens.
I'm finding the a7rII at about the same price as I paid for my a99. in the $3,000 price range for the body.
I rarely shoot indoors so I'm not having problems with light. I do have a flash if I need it.
I am concerned about the a7rII's Megapixel I don't know what file size I would be getting with it. I only shoot JPEGs. I know, I know I should be shooting RAW but I'm happy with what I'm getting. I guess I should stick with what I have for the time being.
Hot in Tampa Bay....
My wife & I love that place.
We have been down there each May for the last 6 years.
Have a good friend in Plant City.
Can't wait to go back again.
I'm new here so this has probably been kicked around before.
Is there a great advantage going to Sony's new E mount cameras and using an adapter ring with my Sony a99 lenses which are an a mount? I'm happy with my a99 but haven't tried any of the new Sony cameras as yet.
I'm new here and it seems that the most of you are Nikon & Canon users.

On X-Mas day here in Richmond VA it was 75 and we all loved it. I feel that Mother Nature will get even on us later.
I keep a Tamron 28-300 f3.5-f6.3 Macro on my Sony a99 all the time. I take few landscape pictures so it has seemed to fill all of my needs. I also have a Panasonic fixed lens camera that has a 25-400 lens that I have taken with me on occasion but my Sony seems to do it all for me. I stand bad mouthed on here from my last question and comments I got back, but I feel that like in oil paintings there are many critics and many styles in photography.

I use Sensor Klear Loupe by Lenspen.
I have found it to work very well.
I don't remember what it sells for but, it does a great job.
What you can do is go outside and take a picture of the blue sky and look at it on your PC very good.
You will then see if any dust etc.. is on your sensor.
The kit is, I think, within the price you mention.
Look them up on the Web and see what you think.
I, have been using it for quite a while now.
Charles
I have to agree with you.
To all...
Just a note. I said my dad was into B&W photography.
My wife & I of course have color.
So far we have been to the Caribbean Islands, Hawaii and Costa Rica.
We both keep trying & learning.
Charles & Goldie
My wife & I both have each a Sony a-99 and a 28-300mm Tamron Macro lenses.
My dad was an avid B & W Film photographer.
This is why we are interested.
We like both like animal, bird & landscape photos.
Do we have what we need?
We also have 1 Tamron 90mm 1:1 Macro.
Are we on the right track to getting the shots we want?
